Welcome to the AFCNews Arsenal blog! This site will be bringing you the most up to date information on Arsenal from a fellow Gunners point of view. I live in Kent which is about an hour from London so I try and get to as many games as possible. The last game I managed to go up and see was the 5-1 thrashing of Shakhtar Donetsk, was nice to see a lot of goals and I'll never forget the reception fellow Gunner Eduardo received on his first return to the club. This game also happened to be my first Champions League game so it couldn't have turned out any better... well it could have been slightly warmer! The next game I have tickets to at the moment is Partizan Belgrade in the Champions League at home, as it's the last game of the group it might not be the strongest team out dependent upon the group standings but it's always nice to see a game live. I'm on the season ticket list but positioned around the 40,000 mark so I have no idea when I'll finally get the opportunity to finally have my own seat at Emirates but the sooner the better so I can get up there and cheer the team on most weeks! If you want to follow me on twitter then be sure to do so here: @thorpeAFC. So please check back soon to see the latest news and information on the Gunners and I hope you submit your own comments about the site and the Arsenal!
